This week’s Featured Online Resource
is the Digital Public Library of
America (http://dp.la). The Digital Public
Library of America (DPLA) is an all-digital library that provides
information about items available from many different libraries, archives, and
museums around the US. It also provides the thumbnails for millions of
photographs, manuscripts, books, sounds, and moving images. You can browse by
timeline or by subject. Although the library only links to resources that are
available, it will provide users with information that might be found in
different libraries across the country.
The DPLA also offers online exhibits
of materials that can be found in different libraries across the US. This
month's new online exhibit is "The Golden Age of Radio in the US".
