Rick Bass will read at 7:30, TH, Dec. 3 at the Lyric Theater, 20 Main St. in Frostburg. He's hosted by FSU's Center for Creative Writing and is the environmental writer for the Fall semester.
Bass's short stories have been anthologized in The Pushcart Prize, Best American Short Stories, and Prize Stories: The O Henry Awards.
His books include The Book of Yaak (non-fiction), The Watch:
Stories (fiction), and Why I Came West: A Memoir.
His environmental activism includes work to save the Montana wilderness.
