The Lewis J. Ort Library is pleased to present 4 new displays for October.
The first display, located on the 3rd floor of the library, near the Library Instruction Classroom, celebrates LGBT History Month. This display is sponsored by SPECTRUM and Women's Studies.
The second display, located on the 3rd floor of the library, near the main entrance, celebrates International Skeptics Day (October 13). The display highlights some of the resources the library offers by leading skeptics.
The third display, located on the 4th floor of the library, highlights the 160th birthday of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States. The display highlights his contributions to both domestic and foreign policy, including his support for the creation of the Panama Canal. The display also highlights some of the resources the library has on Roosevelt.
The fourth display, located on the 5th floor of the library, highlights Earth Sciences Week (October 14-20). This year's theme is: Earth as Inspiration. The display also highlights some of the different resources the library offers on the topic of earth science.
The displays will be up through the end of October.
