Featured Online Resource: Webinar on MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses)

This week's Featured Online Resource is a recording of a webinar held July 11th, on the topic of MOOCs or Massive Open Online Courses.

The web is all abuzz lately on the topic of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Classes), with the introduction of edX, a joint partnership between Harvard and MIT, that will offer free online classes.  If you want to learn more about what a MOOC is, you can listen to the recording of a webinar sponsored by JISC, held July 11, 2012.  JISC is a UK-based institute that provides leadership for educational institutions in the use of digital technology in research, teaching, and learning in the UK.
