Potomac State of WVU in Keyser on June 2, 2017.
Libraries Leading the
Trends, began with a Keynote address by Cheryl Ann Middleton, Associate
University Librarian for Learning and Engagement at Oregon State University
Libraries & Press and in-coming president of ACRL.
Both Amber and Emily participated in the conference poster
session. Amber, enrolled in the University of Kentucky’s School of Information
Science, created a poster detailing the celebration of National Library Week at
the Lewis J. Ort Library that contained the assessment of comments from students explaining what
they love about the Library.
Emily Zumbrun, enrolled at the University of Maryland,
College Park’s College of Information Studies, designed a poster detailing her
internship with the Dr. David M. Gillespie Special Collections and the Digital
Projects Lab at the Lewis J. Ort Library to digitize seventy years of Commencement
Bulletins for the Maryland Shared Open Access Repository (MD-SOAR).
