The Lewis J. Ort Library is pleased to announce 3 new displays for November 2017.
The first display on the 4th floor of the library recognizes the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution that led to the development of the Soviet Union. The display contains resources available on this historical event that are available in the library.
The second display is located on the 3rd floor of the library and recognizes Native American History Month. The display highlights the 1973 Occupation of Wounded Knee by the American Indian Movement (AIM). The display highlights some of the newspaper articles from this time.
The third display is also on the 3rd floor of the library and is on King Tutankhamun. It provides information on his background and history of his tomb that was found in 1922.
These displays will be up through the end of November.
