March Book Madness 2021 - Round of 32 begins today (March 5)

 Congratulations to all the authors/books that are moving onto the Round of 32 in March Book Madness. This is where the competition gets harder.

Voting for the Round of 32 begins today March 5 and ends March 10.

As a reminder, this year we looked back to our past seven contests. We took 64 books from 2014-2020 that made it to the Sweet 16 (minus the winners) and are going to have them compete once again to give them a second chance.

Voting for the Round of 32 begins today March 6 and ends Monday March 9.

This year our categories are focused on authors from around the world. As part of this the author and a book they have written will be paired together during the competition. You will vote on author/book as a pair.

The 8 categories are:

• Authors from South America
• Authors from Europe
• Authors from North America
• Authors from Australia/New Zealand/Pacific Islands
• Authors from Africa
• Authors from Ireland (in honor of Irish American Heritage Month)
• Authors from Central America/Caribbean
• Authors from Asia

The voting for the Round of 32 runs from Monday March 5^th  through Thursday March 8^th

Ort Library's March Book Madness - Round of 32

Congratulations to all the books that made it to the Round of 32 during Ort Library's March Book Madness.

The voting for the Round of 32 runs from Tuesday March 8^th  through Friday March 11^th  

Again there are three ways to vote:

1. Paper ballots will be available in the library by the March Book Madness display case.
2. A Library Guide has been created so that you can see the brackets and vote online. The guide can be accessed via the following link: http://libguides.frostburg.edu/march-madness16
3. On the Library Guide, there is a PDF bracket that you can fill in and e-mail to tmmastrodonato@frostburg.edu
