Featured Online Resource: August 21 Total/Partial Eclipse information from NASA

On August 21, 2017, a total eclipse will be visible across much of the United States. It will also be visible as a partial eclipse in other states (including Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia).

• Interactive map, showing whether eclipse will be total partial from various locations. This includes the percentage of sun that will be blocked and the beginning, maximum eclipse, and ending times (In Universal Time):  https://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/interactive_map/index.html.
• According to the interactive map, the following information is provided for Frostburg (Converted to Eastern Daylight Time):
• Start of eclipse 1:13 PM
• Maximum eclipse (81.64%): 2:38 PM
• End of partial eclipse: 3:58 PM
