This week’s Featured Online Resource is the Computer Desktop
Encyclopedia (http://computerlanguage.com/).
The Computer Desktop Encyclopedia was founded in 1978 when the founder of the
company was unable to find a computer dictionary that would work in the computer
classes he was teaching. The dictionary started out with 300 entries and now
has over 30,000.
The site offers the option of searching for a particular
term, browsing by letter, or getting the Tech Term of the Day. This site also
offers users the option of downloading the dictionary to their iPhone, Android,
or Windows device.
